Bodoni is a serif font designed by Giambattista Bodoni in the late 18th century. Popular for its heavy to lighter stroke variations, angular shapes and classy appearance, Bodoni is a perfect representative of the Didone’s class. Its elegant look has placed it as a standard in fashion, luxury branding, editorial design, and many other fields. However, it doesn’t mean that Bodoni cannot be used for headlines and display typography; it has a powerful, imperative look about it. Because of these features, it is still widely used in both classical and contemporary design works.
