The Rustica typeface is a new kind of sans-serif design which is in tune with the 21st century, at the same time as it reflects the traditional humanistic spirit. Rustica, a GeoHumanist sans serif, offers both the warmth of the humanist style and the rigidity of the geometric construction.
Typography tends to return to its historical beginnings in order to find the power for the next changes. This principle is evident in Rustica’s design, which is based on humanist architecture but features the more contemporary straight lines and geometrical shapes that are characteristic of early twentieth-century sans-serif fonts.
