Sacramento is an attractive monoline script font that has an old-fashioned charm, as well as a contemporary finesse. It is smooth as handwriting but in a sophisticated and business-like manner. It traces its origins to the daring hand-lettering of brochures and advertisements of the 1950s and 1960s.
It is somewhere in between informal handwriting and elegant calligraphy. With its upright style it is classy but not too serious, and is suitable in headlines, logos and standout text. Slim includes a thin, lightweight pen-stroke. Stout version adds more weight and boldness, taking the balance between casual and formal even further.
Sacramento font family supports OpenType features, initial, and final letterforms, an alternate lowercase t, and convenient ligatures of words and, of, and the, etc. It also provides support to superior and inferior numbers of fractions along with several numeral styles. Now take note: the Stout style is too heavy to use optional ligatures.
