TT Commons is a neat and uncomplicated sans serif font designed by TypeType. TT Commons Classic appeared in 2016 and was initially a part of the rebranding project in late 2016. The logo had two basic fully furnished faces (regular and medium), which later were the official corporate face of the TypeType Foundry.
TT Commons Classic wasn’t originally intended for public usage, but TypeType decided to make it public after receiving a lot of requests and demand for it. Before doing so, they made important improvements which included adding 18 styles, small caps in Latin and Cyrillic both, increasing the character set to 771 glyphs, introducing 18 OpenType features, and doing super unique and fine internal fine-tuning. Because of its smooth and clean lines, TT Commons Classic works really good for long blocks of text. But each letter is designed with thought, so it also looks great in titles or large displays like bill boards or anything extravagant. It’s not flashy or overly stylized and has its charm is in its simplicity, balance, and sleek design, which gives a strong, timeless feel to the users.
