Uniform Pro is a meticulously designed geometric font family which implements a unique design treatment for its condensed letter features. A single observant moment brought forth the idea of keeping circular ‘O’ shapes straight while reducing their size instead of allowing them to become elliptical. A groundbreaking observation produced the foundational concept which built the distinct structure of Uniform.
The concept of Uniform Pro started as a simple drawing before it encountered multiple barriers during its path to implementation. Due to my role as a full-time graphic designer and after getting married, I had to postpone the development process. The Kickstarter campaign failure introduced additional obstacles in the face of their challenges. In December 2013, determination finally supplanted the obstacles, and it enabled progress to happen. The typeface existed only through months of nonstop work during early morning glyph development until its birth in October 2014.
Uniform Pro has surpassed its predecessor by gaining new capabilities such as Cyrillic and Greek character set support to achieve modern standards. The upgraded version includes built-in italics together with new weight options and advanced OpenType functionality. The result of relentless work has given birth to Uniform Pro which demonstrates both functional efficiency and inventive design characteristics.
With 42 different styles, the Uniform Pro font family allows designers to create multiple design solutions for any project type.
